This is clearly a scam. I previously left a review here and received a response from the same person using the exact same words she used when responding to me directly. It is evident that they have no intention of closing this account. I explicitly requested the account to be closed via email last December, yet they still billed me and took another full year subscription in February. Hey Olga, I demand a refund of my money.

I have had experience using both Otter and Trint, specifically the business or pro versions. While Otter is also good, in my opinion, Trint is significantly superior. Trint's transcriptions appear to be more accurate to me, but what really sets it apart are the interface and additional features. When it comes to editing, the Trint interface feels much more responsive compared to Otter's. Additionally, Trint offers better export options, particularly for working with video.

Both Otter and Trint have a highlighter feature for marking transcript text, but Otter only provides one color while Trint offers several. This may seem like a minor detail, but when transcribing audio into text, I want to be able to easily locate specific information without having to read through every line. Therefore, having multiple highlighter colors as a tool for working with transcripts is an essential feature in my opinion.

Another great feature of Trint is its "Story" feature. Not only can I highlight important content in a transcript, but I can also extract that content and incorporate it into a separate "story" composed of snippets from other transcripts. This allows me to categorize related content and keep it organized.

Overall, I am highly satisfied with Trint. However, if there was one thing I could change, it would be the addition of a gray color highlighter option. I often use this color in Microsoft Word to signify text that is skimmable and of lesser importance, but still not deserving of deletion or a strikethrough. In cases where highlighting the important information would mean highlighting the majority of the text, a gray highlighter would be useful. Additionally, while both Otter and Trint can automatically detect who is speaking, it seems that Otter is better at doing this across multiple transcripts after being provided with speaker name labels.

Lastly, I must commend Trint's customer service. Olga at Trint has been incredibly helpful and accommodating, always going above and beyond to assist me.

The transcriptions in French provided by Trint are hardly usable. Numerous words are completely unrelated and irrelevant. While Trint might be effective for other languages (or maybe not?), it is regrettably highly ineffective for French. The pricing is exorbitant and the return on investment is a complete disaster.

Owen was extremely prompt and kind. I had concerns that the process we had to go through would be lengthy and difficult. However, Owen truly put me at ease, not only with the process itself but also with Trint as a company. I genuinely appreciated his assistance.

The price is reasonable, as it provides various language options and the transcription is quite accurate. However, the AI encounters difficulties when there is background noise. The counter feature is not very useful, and the translation can be quite creative. Nevertheless, the transcription itself is flawless, although it should still be verified.

I decided to switch from Otter.ai to Trint, and I have no regrets. One of the things I really enjoyed about Trint was its thematic analysis coding feature. The accuracy of the transcriptions is on par with other top products in the market, with only occasional edits required. It's important to note that no transcription service is perfect, but Trint's customer service is exceptional. I couldn't be happier with it. Other companies should take note of how Trint handles their customer support. There are no automated bots; instead, you get to chat with a live person who is highly knowledgeable and thorough. Wow, seriously? I'm swamped with Trint right now, so I haven't had the chance to give it a proper review. Let me tell you, it's hands down the best automatic transcription service I've ever used. The coolest part is that you can actually train it to recognize unusual words, which saves so much time and energy. Once we make a few corrections, the translation service works like a charm. I might even give the Story feature a shot when I have some free time to fully grasp it. Keep up the good work and keep making it even better!
